Is Fergie escaping blame for the United ongoing debt saga?

Fergs had a dispute with the previous majority shareholders Magnier and McM, apparently he felt he owned more of champion racehorse 'Rock of Gibraltar' than he actually did. Thus the working relationship between Fergie and the two owners became hostile. Magnier and McM then sought to sell up as they had the good sense to know that a Fergie walk-out would have seen a backlash against them from the fans. Do you think this is why Fergs never says a bad word about the Glazers because deep down he knows he is more than partly responsible that they now own Utd?
