Can I get a log of my IMs from the past couple of days?

If you set it to archive, then yes. You can go to Contacts, then message archive and it should show you what you have IM'd for every person since you enabled the feature. I don't have yahoo messenger directly in front of me or otherwise I could tell ya how to enable that also. Just look through the options menu.
