What is the best place to live in Derby ?

I currently live in Derby, but I'm not sure there's any place to rent to what you describe. There possibly could be in the town centre but i'm not totally convinced. There isn't anything like that within the residential areas surrounding the city centre like Allenton, Alvaston, Ostmaston ect..
