The "Super" full moon is 14% larger than the moon when it is furthest away from Earth - it is not even 1% larger or closer than one in December 2008. No scientists at all have said it will cause earthquakes - that will have been cranks of one sort or another. The moon is now past full and moving away and there have been no quakes, the Japan quake occurred when the moon was more than its average distance from Earth, so this "super" moon has had no discernable effects on earth at all.
